1969 Jaguar E-Type

We received the 1969 Jaguar E-Type as a complete, running, driving, and stopping car. Our team handled the full disassembly, and the drivetrain was immediately sent to Paul Casado at Growler Restorations for refurbishment. We began with complete paint stripping and moved into coachwork. The body required extensive metal replacement, including all new wheel well sheet metal and a brand-new bonnet assembly sourced from Mike Mueller. Once the chassis rust was addressed, we tackled the sheet metal. This car was not short on needs—it required inner rear wheel wells, a trunk pan, rockers, sill plates, and more. Once the structural and sheet metal work was complete, we moved on to bodywork, primer, paint, and reassembly. Most of the trim components were also rechromed. Final assembly was completed by Paul at Growler Restorations.

Few cars have achieved the legendary status of the Jaguar E-Type. By 1969, this British sports car was in its prime, epitomizing the style and excitement of the Swinging Sixties. Launched in 1961 to worldwide acclaim, the E-Type became an instant icon thanks to its jaw-dropping design, impressive performance, and cultural cachet. It was even reputedly dubbed “the most beautiful car in the world” by Enzo Ferrari. Blending exceptional aesthetics with race-bred engineering at a relatively attainable price, the E-Type quickly established itself as an icon of the motoring world.
