1967 Ferrari 330 GTC

We received the 1967 Ferrari 330 GTC from Randy at R&R Automotive Restorations. The car had been repainted at some point, so we stripped it down to bare metal. Randy had left several notes on areas he wanted improved—tightened panel gaps, better fitment, and metalwork corrections. One of the major tasks was the driver's side door. The entire door was in poor condition, so we fabricated a new doorskin using the English wheel and welded it in. We also had to rebuild the hinge assembly and lead the door gaps for a proper fit. This car required extensive leadwork. Due to the hand-built nature of the coachwork, the components were highly inconsistent—quarter windows, bumpers, trim—all needed adjustment. We reshaped and fit the bumpers individually, as the left and right sides were not symmetrical. Each bumper was shaved and contoured to match the body exactly. We also ensured proper fitment of all glass, headlights, side vent trim, and the front grille. Once all metalwork and leadwork were completed, we painted the car. To verify proper fit, we pre-assembled all components—including door handles, window frames, headlights, and trim—prior to plating and chroming, ensuring tight and consistent gaps. After bodywork and paint were complete, the car returned to Randy for mechanical sorting and final interior work.

Powered by a 4.0L Colombo V12 producing 300 horsepower, it delivered smooth yet exhilarating performance, reaching a top speed of around 150 mph. Positioned between the more aggressive 275 GTB and the luxurious 330 GT 2+2, the 330 GTC featured a perfectly balanced chassis, independent suspension, and a five-speed transaxle for exceptional handling. Designed by Pininfarina, its elegant proportions, slim pillars, and signature egg-crate grille made it one of the most beautiful Ferraris of its era.
